Terms & Conditions
These terms explain how Wodudu accounts, business listings, bookings and payments may be used.
Last updated: October 27, 2026
1. Platform Services
Wodudu is a technology platform that helps customers discover businesses, view services, make bookings and communicate with business owners. The listed business owner is responsible for delivering the selected service or product.
2. Business Owner Responsibilities
Business owners must provide accurate business, service, price, availability, contact and payment information. They are responsible for licences, invoices, service delivery, cancellations, refunds and customer support.
3. Owner Payment Confirmation and Customer Conduct
Business owners must honestly verify and acknowledge the customer's payment after the exact required amount has been received, so the customer can access the requested service. Owners must not deliberately ignore, reject or misrepresent a genuine payment.
Business owners must treat customers respectfully, professionally and courteously. Violence, threats, harassment, abuse, discrimination, intimidation or other unsafe behaviour is strictly prohibited. Owners must communicate with customers in a friendly and respectful manner and cooperate with Wodudu in resolving service-related issues.
A customer report may lead to an immediate investigation and protective action, including booking restrictions, account suspension or termination, subject to review and applicable law. We may request evidence from both the customer and the owner before taking final enforcement action.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate account and booking information and must not create fraudulent bookings, misuse another person’s payment method or use Wodudu for unlawful activity.
5. Customer–Owner Payments and Service Fulfilment
Customers must pay the exact amount displayed by the business owner for the requested service. For direct customer–owner payments, Wodudu provides the payment details supplied by the owner but does not receive, hold or independently verify that payment unless a Wodudu payment flow expressly states otherwise. A payment alone does not guarantee service; the owner must accept or confirm the request before the service is provided.
If the owner does not accept or confirm the request, the service will not be provided. Payment disputes, payment confirmation and refunds for direct customer–owner payments must be resolved with the owner using the verified contact details shown on the business profile. Wodudu cannot guarantee or issue a refund for a direct payment that it did not receive or process.
6. Underpayments, Cancellation and Refunds
If a customer unintentionally pays less than the required amount, the customer should contact the owner through the verified Gmail address or other verified contact method shown on the business profile, pay the remaining balance, and submit a new request. Customers should confirm the balance with the owner before sending any additional payment.
Cancellation and refund rules may vary by business and service. The applicable policy will be displayed before booking. Refunds for payments processed by Wodudu or an authorised payment partner are subject to the applicable payment and cancellation policy and may require additional processing time from the payment partner or bank.
7. Prohibited Use
Users must not submit false information, access another account, upload harmful content, conduct unauthorised transactions or offer prohibited goods or services.
8. Fraud, Misrepresentation and Account Enforcement
Business owners must provide genuine, accurate and lawful business information and services. Fraud, impersonation, misleading claims, fake registration, non-delivery of services, misuse of customer data, harassment, manipulation of reviews, or any other violation of law or these Terms is prohibited.
We may investigate customer complaints and take immediate protective action, including removing listings, restricting bookings or messages, suspending the Business Account, and placing payment settlements on hold where permitted by applicable law or payment-provider rules.
In cases of verified serious fraud, repeated violations, or urgent risk to customers, the account may be permanently suspended or terminated, including after an expedited review within 24–48 hours. A single unverified complaint will not automatically establish a violation. We may request evidence and provide an appeal process where appropriate.
We may share relevant information with Razorpay, banks, regulators, law-enforcement agencies or other authorities when legally required or reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud. Any freezing, lien or attachment of a bank account or funds may only be carried out by the relevant bank or legally authorised authority; Wodudu does not itself freeze bank accounts.
Termination of an account does not require immediate deletion of records that must be retained for legal, regulatory, fraud-prevention, payment, tax or dispute-resolution purposes.
9. Data and Privacy
Account, booking and business information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Users must not misuse or disclose another person’s personal data.
10. Changes and Governing Law
These terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
